In 1998, Venice Family Clinic received Ryan White funding to open a joint on-site HIV medical clinic in collaboration with Common Ground. The primary goal of the Westside Partners Clinic is to serve medically indigent clients who are multi-diagnosed with chronic homelessness, mental illness, and/or substance use as well as with HIV.

Westside Partners is a model program that combines specialized medical services with support services. Common Ground provides case management and mental health staff to support HIV positive clients at the clinic, while Venice Family Clinic provides medical and administrative staff.
